Ultimate Essentials Beach Packing List for Family
Many of you have requested a comprehensive beach packing list for family vacation. I must admit, some items on this list have significantly enhanced our beach trips for a more enjoyable and hassle-free experience.
International Power Plug Adapter– All in one so we don’t have to carry little individual ones.
Universal Waterproof Phone Pouch– Perfect for capturing beach or pool photos and storing other valuables like cash and credit cards.
Portable phone charger– You must have this especially if you want to keep taking photos or need google maps. It has saved us many times.
Tide Sink Packs Laundry Detergent– I always prefer washing swimsuits, and this made it incredibly convenient to wash them each day.
Portable Air Pump– When we go to a pool or beach now, we can bring inflatables. It works really well and easy to use.
Handheld mini fan– We tried to find this while we were in Greece during their heatwave but couldn’t locate one. Highly recommended for each child if you’re visiting a hot place.
Sunscreen Face Stick– I always worry about my kids’ faces getting sunburned, so this makes it easy to apply without them complaining.
Nature Republic Aloe Face Mask– An essential for skin hydration and wrinkle prevention after a full day in the sun.
Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Peel– As you already know, I’m a big fan of this product, but it’s essential for preventing sunspots and wrinkles on the face.
Dr. Dennis Gross Vitamin C Serum– I’m always looking for a good serum to address the sunspots on my cheeks, and this one does the job. Apply it every night after washing your face
Dr. Dennis Gross Sunscreen – This sunscreen isn’t oily and doesn’t leave a heavy white residue. It absorbs into the skin quickly, not too oily or drying.
Bulk disposable House Slippers– These closed-toe disposable spa slippers are a game changer so you’re not walking around with wet or sandy slippers. Perfect for hotel floors, and you can toss them after.
Foldable water bottle– Shrinks as you finish, perfect to bring drinks to the beach or pool. Easy to wash and dishwasher safe.
Motion sickness patch– My son and I experience severe motion sickness. We used to take pills, but they would leave us feeling drowsy and dehydrated. Now we use this patch behind our ear and we no longer suffer from motion sickness and enjoy all boat excursions.
Seaband anti nausea– We also use these bands along with the patch. When we used it alone it doesn’t work well.
Compact Beach Blanket– It’s sand proof and quick drying, spacious enough for a whole family. It comes in a compact bag that conveniently fits into any carry-on bag.
Bug Bite Relief– At times, I question the effectiveness of these, but my kids are convinced they work, and they also help prevent them from scratching their bites.
Mesh Beach Bag with Cooler– I prefer mesh beach bags because they let sand out easily and allow me to see where everything is located. Having a cooler is great for carrying drinks and keeping valuables concealed.
Back Floatie– I like to bring a back floatie for my daughter. She doesn’t like the arm ones and often removes them. These are lightweight and adjustable as they get better.
Ring Floaties– With the portable air pump, we can now purchase floaties at an excellent price in advance. This set is both affordable and a lot of fun. There’s no need for kids to argue over the colors, and we leave them behind for others to enjoy.
Towel Pants– These pants keep my daughter cozy and dry. They’ve been a game-changer after the pool, especially on cool, breezy days.
Pillow Slippers– I actually wear this outside. In Greece, I walked everywhere in these and did not get a single blister.
